Do you see it?.. There onthe horizon.. I say again, do you see it? Fetch the spyglass. Yes.. yes its as I thought, two ships, one bearing the flag of Jonathon Rayner-Burt it must be the mighty Stella459 the ship that takes the form of a train, what curious things on this ocean lay. The other is unmistakeable, by all the gods its huge! ARA captained by theintrepid Dimi Nakov.

Quickly now raise anchor, perhaps a little mopping of the decks as well least we look like poor cousins, though poor cousins we may well be. While you’re at it we best hoist our flag… What’s that you say?.. we don’t have a flag! Oh dear, you are of course quite right I’d forgotten or was dreaming or both, it happens from time to time. Still nothing a little cut ‘n’ paste won’t fix, allow me to go below decks and I’ll conjure us up something in a jiffy or at least something that will suffice till artisans paint our skies.

Its a sirens song, it will take us a little off course but with our three ships combined we will prevail.

Last Star is privileged to standalongside Jonathon Rayner-Burt (Stella459) and Dimi Nakov (ARA) at the upcoming Armageddon Expo in Auckland under the combined banner of Guerrilla Filmmaking. We will be doing a joint panel discussing a little about our respective projects and covering the world of indie (sci-fi) filmmaking in general.
